Welcome to The Rubric, the unofficial wiki for Red Quill!

You've been selected as one of a few trusted people to edit the wiki. I've created this wiki to help the community, particularly new people who are trying to figure out the site. I have locked down editing and account creation because the Red Quill users are a bunch of internet gooners and Crom knows what they'd put up here.

What should be here

Instructions for performing actions on Red Quill (generally referred to as "the site")
Descriptions of options
Suggestions for specific parts of the site (like writers, spice, etc)

What should NOT be here

Stories or links to them - we do not have the space to host a ton of stories, and there is no need to link directly to stories. We want to try to keep the wiki as SFW as possible
Cover images - Really, we don't want any images that are not absolutely necessary. We don't have much storage space, so we can't afford to have a large number of high-resolution images. No really--we have very little space. You have more storage on your phone.
Politics, arguments, opinions, or judgements - Don't yuck somebody's yum. It may not be your thing, but it is likely someone's, and we want to welcome everyone.

General Wiki Rules

Only editors can log in and edit pages. I didn't want to face the nightmare of the entire web hammering at the wiki
As few images as possible. We have about 15GB of storage, which is nothing.
No nude or very sexual images. If a screenshot has a new image in it, please blur it out.
No mention of specific users. If a page shows a story, please blur any user names or story names and covers. The exceptions are people already identified with the site (Cat, Ax, mods, etc). When in doubt, blur it.
I am not putting any threats in about revoking accounts or anything like that. If I didn't think you could be trusted, I wouldn't have invited you. Also, let's be real--this is a fan wiki for a site that uses a robot to make smut. It's hardly national security.
It's probably best to keep your Red Quill profile separate from your wiki profile. While it might seem silly right now to be concerned about it, that is the kind of thing that can get out now and then come back 4 years later and bite you in the ass. Be prepared, that's my motto. Obviously, you shouldn't reveal other editors' names either. What happens on the wiki stays on the wiki.
