I subscribed a few months back and got all kinds of non-expiring red quills. Then let my subscription lapse. “Just resubscribe when you need a bunch more quills,” right? And then, the Advanced-Writapocalypse happened. I used to happily burn thru quills to keep Ember writing my stuff. Then, resubscribe for more. Rinse and repeat. Now, I horde those Advanced Write tokens.

BTW, this is not a knock on the site admins. This is just me reflecting on changing usage patterns as the site devs figure out how to keep the lights on.

Anyway, back to what I’ve learned. Probably as far back as February or March, I was lobbying for a feature where you and the LLM could interact directly. Like iterate on ideas, storyboard and rainstorm. Like in a writer’s room. Still hoping for that feature, BTW.

But, now that I’m relying heavily on the standard model (I call it the K-car model in my head. You know, as opposed to a luxury or performance model??? Never mind - gear head joke). So, how do I squeeze max value out of the Little K-car Model that Could? The answer is right prompts. And, not just detailed in terms of what you want it to write, but how - tone, perspective, setting, even giving it continuity help. My solution - which I’d already started doing when I realized I wanted a writer’s room partner - was to lean heavy on Grok. Grok isn’t the most prosaic or flowery but it has one big advantage: smut. It’ll happily help you craft your smutty story no matter what kink you’re into. So Grok and I iterate ideas back and forth until the texture, perspective and plot line emerge. Then I prompt it for a prompt package for each chapter. And I specifically told it I’m dealing with RQ’s K-car model and it needs all the help it can get.

Now, I do have to do a bit more editing than I was used to with Ember but the K-car Model that Could will put out decent stuff with a good prompt package. I’ll share just one example with you from this week’s First-chapter challenge.

The prompt Grok helped me create:

[Write a complete first-chapter erotic story.

Light present-day frame (keep it short)]

Early-40s Danielle and Brittany are having drinks. Brittany says she still thinks about the afternoon they finally dealt with Lori. They start telling the story together, then the narration drops fully into 2006 and stays there. 2006: Danielle and Brittany come home thinking the house is empty. They walk into the sitting room and catch Lori completely: robe open, naked underneath, purple toy humming on her bare pussy, laptop playing a spit-roast porn video of a blonde and two men, smell of pot in the air. Brittany recovers first and takes control using the pot, the porn, and Lori’s state as leverage. Danielle is initially shocked, but after the first minute she becomes active and agentic — she starts touching Lori, giving her own orders, and participating fully instead of just following Brittany. Required physical domination (do not skip or soft-pedal): - Frequent tit slapping and hard nipple pinching/twisting whenever Lori backtalks or protests. - Facesitting: each girl rides Lori’s face while the other works her pussy with the toy, fingers, or mouth. - Hands-on teasing, overstimulation, and forcing multiple orgasms. - Brittany is physical and more aggressive. She positions Lori, uses her mouth, slaps her tits, and directs Danielle while also participating.

[Tone rules: - Strong CNC / body-betrayal. Lori protests, insults them, and threatens to tell Denny, but her body keeps responding (soaking wet, hard nipples, shaking orgasms she tries to deny). - Almost no soft consent check-ins. - Danielle’s quiet satisfaction and growing agency are important. - Keep all 2006 details accurate (laptop, no smartphones, etc.). End the 2006 flashback on a clear, dominant power-flip moment with Lori thoroughly used, marked by their hands, and forced to apologize while still physically under their control. Present day, Danielle casually remarks how much more pleasant and accommodating Lori became, while they both giggle, hinting that they both continued using Lori for their mutual pleasure. First-person from Danielle’s POV in the 2006 scenes. High heat, physical, and direct].@Facesitting Femdom @It's all good. @Cunnilingus @Post-orgasm overstimulation @Lesbian Femme @Lesbian @Multiple release torture @Straight Girl Reluctance

The instructions in [brackets] serve to define perspective, setting, writing style and whatever else you want the model to do. I would argue these are details that are just as important as the story idea itself. Now, Components already do a lot of that heavy lifting but sometimes you get components giving the model conflicting or am I guidance if you don’t carefully review each component. You’ll see I specified 6 components there but, honestly, I was a bit lazy on that I didn’t want to give Grok a laundry list of sex positions I wanted to see. So I used those components to tell our little K-car model the kinds of sex acts I’d like to show up. I could have been brutally specific and skipped those components but for me it’s more fun telling it the sorts of things I want to see the characters do and let it surprise me with the specifics.

And, if you haven’t already seen the results, here is the link to my chapter-one challenge:

So, fear not if you don’t have abundant Advanced Writer tokens. Go forth and prompt well and you’ll get the little guy to do a decent job. As always, YMMV but good luck and happy prompting![1]
